General Terms and Conditions of Business 1. Offerings
Our wood cuts, copperplate engravings, lithographies
and steel engravings are original graphical prints and
were printed at the time indicated by us. If an
engraving has been coloured, it will be stated whether
the colouring dates from the time of creation ("period
coloured") or if it dates from the 20th century
("coloured").
The graphics and books offered are, unless otherwise
specified, completely preserved and in a condition
according to their age. Narrow margin widths, browned
grooves, light foxing, tears in the margin as well as
other typical signs of age and wear are not defects.
The measurements refer to the image details of the sheet
(edge of the printing plate) and are specified in
centimetres. Height before width.

upon delivery of the goods to the shipping company.

We remain owners of the goods pending payment in full.

4. Right of Cancellation and
Return
The customer may cancel his sales contract within
two weeks of receipt of the goods without a written
statement of reasons (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or by
returning the goods.
This does not apply if the customer acts as a company.
The deadline begins upon receipt of the written
cancellation policy.
A timely dispatch of the cancellation or the goods is
sufficient to keep the deadline.
In case of a cancellation the customer is obligated to
return goods of a value up to € 40 at his own expense,
insofar as the goods comply with the order; otherwise at
our expense.
If a return is not possible or only in impaired
condition, then the customer must insofar compensate for
the diminished value. This does not apply, if the
impairment can be ascribed solely to the inspection of
the goods.
5. Final Provisions
The legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany
applies, unless the protection granted is revoked by
compulsory legal regulations stipulated by the country
of usual residence of the customer.
If the customer is a merchant or has his legal domicile
or usual place of residence outside of Germany, then the
place of jurisdiction will be Weilheim.
If individual provisions of the customer's contract,
including these general terms and conditions, should
become fully or partially void, then this will not
affect the validity of the other provisions. |
